Katharine Otway

Katharine trained as a banking lawyer for city law firm Clifford Chance and then worked in general media/entertainment before specialising in film and television in 2000. She has worked for Olswang and for Wiggin where she acted for various US Studios, UK independent producers and sales agents/distributors on the production, financing and distribution of feature films and television programmes, ranging from low budget independent productions to big budget studio productions.
Katharine set up her own Glasgow based business affairs consultancy in 2009 to advise on and negotiate contracts in respect of all aspects of film and television development, production, financing and distribution and now acts for various independent film and TV production companies. Since setting up in Glasgow Katharine has worked on a number of feature films, television programmes, animated programmes and documentaries.
